Barron KARES is our commitment to sharing kindness and appreciation within our community through a hands-on response rooted in empathy and service. Each month, we shine a spotlight on a different charity or non-profit organization that holds high esteem among Team Barron and within the communities we serve. Barron KARES provides a charitable donation of $110 on select purchases, such as tankless water heaters, heat pumps, solar installations, generators, and more.
Why $110? It carries a profound significance rooted in the wisdom of our owner John Barron’s mentor, who advised, "Go above and beyond your call of duty—push past 100, give 110% every time." This philosophy of exceeding expectations has become a guiding principle for us. John and Brad Barron, his son and company CEO, personify this commitment in every aspect of their work and inspire the greater Barron team to do the same.
With Barron KARES, we see our commitment as more than a monetary donation. It represents a dedication to making a tangible, positive impact on the causes and individuals we support. By featuring a different charity or non-profit each month, we hope to help illuminate organizations that align with our values and resonate with our team and communities.

This July, Barron KARES is honored to feature the Ferndale Cancer Walk, an organization dedicated to raising awareness for all types of cancer while supporting local patients and families through education, early detection, outreach, and local cancer care.
The Ferndale Cancer Walk was inspired by the courageous journey of Sandy Martinson's mother, who battled a rare form of bile duct cancer. Before her passing, she asked that others be spared the challenges her family faced and that greater awareness be brought to rare cancers that often go undetected until it is too late. What began as one family's promise has grown into a meaningful community event that brings together survivors, caregivers, families, and supporters to remember loved ones, encourage those currently fighting cancer, and offer hope to everyone affected by this disease.
Plus, our partner Daikin is joining the effort by donating an additional $100 for every Daikin and Barron Private FIT system sold, helping make an even greater impact for local families. Together, every qualifying Daikin and Barron Private Label FIT installation generates $210 in support of the Ferndale Cancer Walk.
