Lake Stevens Solar Services
Aligning Your Energy Upgrades with Whole-Home Performance
If you are looking to offset your monthly utility bills or fix a failing panel array, Barron Home Services provides straightforward solar assessments, repairs, and installations grounded in how your entire property uses power.
We approach your electrical grid differently than a standard contractor because an isolated fix rarely solves the real problem. Instead of looking only at your roof and quoting a price for panels, our team evaluates your comfort, safety, airflow, and electrical demands to build a solution that fits your household.
Adding renewable energy to a house with failing insulation or an outdated electrical panel is like putting premium fuel in a broken engine. We look at the total picture so your investment yields genuine, long-term efficiency.
When Dan and Vivian Barron started this business out of their family garage in 1972, they ran the office from the kitchen table, committed to honest, people-first service. Over 50 years later, we still train every technician who joins our team with that same hands-on standard. We do not follow a script, and we do not push extra equipment you did not ask for. We listen to what you are experiencing, evaluate the underlying infrastructure, and explain our findings.
Arrange a Lake Stevens solar assessment by phoning (360) 987-5931 or writing to us through our contact page.
What Our Solar Quote Shows Before You Sign It
Before we recommend a solar system, we assess your home, roof, and site to determine what the installation needs.
Your estimate then lays out the key details of the proposed system, including:
- Yearly output from a shading study – The estimate lists system size in kilowatts (units of generating capacity) and the kilowatt-hours the system should produce each year, based on shade measured on your roof. A roof beside the forest along Catherine Creek or Centennial Woods can have different shade conditions than a roof on open ground, so we measure your site rather than relying on neighborhood averages.
- A roof layout with the city’s pathways – The City of Lake Stevens requires roof plans to show 36 inches of clear access and 18 inches of clearance from each hip or valley (the angled seams where roof sections meet). We account for those pathways when determining how many panels the roof can accommodate.
- Equipment named by make and model – The inverter (the unit that converts panel power into household power), panels, and any battery each have their own manufacturer warranty. Our estimate identifies the equipment included in the proposed system so you can review the applicable warranty terms.
- The company behind the workmanship – Solar installations can remain on a home for decades, so the company installing the system matters. We've worked in Northwest Washington since 1972, and our About Us page provides more information about the Barron family and the company.
Your free in-home solar estimate includes these details after we assess your property. You'll have the system information, equipment specifications, roof layout, and warranty details you need to understand what we're proposing before you decide whether to move forward.
