Aeroseal’s aerosol duct work sealing technology was invented and developed by the Energy Performance of Buildings Group at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory in 1994. The technology seals duct leaks in air ducts by injecting a fog of aerosol sealant particles into a pressurized duct system. The key to the technology is keeping the particles suspended within the air stream without accumulating on the duct walls until they reach the leaks, where they deposit at the leak edges, and seal the leaks. All from the inside, out!
Barron Heating is proud to be the area’s provider of AeroSeal to all homes in Northwest Washington. While popular in the commercial industry for decades, the technology has now been adopted to improve the lives and homes of residential customers. Learn More by watching the AeroSeal video below.
