How Can We Help?

Trenchless Plumbing

Trenchless plumbing is still a new concept for many Northwest Washington residents. It’s essentially a way to have sewer line repairs and main water line services done with as little disruption to your property as possible. Trenchless technology, also called no-dig technology, allows us to conveniently access your underground plumbing lines buried deep under your property. These lines would otherwise be very hard to access.

Underground piping, sewer line services, and main water line services were once a tremendous project for plumbers, requiring that a trench be excavated over the length of the pipe that needed servicing. Without proper leak detection, this could mean digging in multiple spots until the problem was found. But no-dig technology only requires that two small pits be dug at each end of the pipe. From there we can access it easily to reline or replace it.

Pipe Relining

Sewer line or main water line damage is not exclusive to older pipes, though it is more common. But shifts in the soil, tree root infiltration and pitting corrosion can all negatively impact even the newest copper sewer and main water line pipes. With no-dig technology, however, the repairs for this don’t have to become an epic excavation.

Instead, we use the trenchless tools at our disposal to conduct effective pipe relining. What happens is that once the two small pits are dug at either side of the pipe, a deflated epoxy pipe is entered into the damaged water line. As it’s inflated, the adhesive epoxy dries onto the inside of the old pipe and creates a new pipe lining.

Trenchless Sewer Line Repair

The specialized machinery we have access to is what makes it possible to conduct effective trenchless sewer line replacement and trenchless sewer line repair. We use hydraulic equipment to push or pull a new pipe through the existing pipe, or to push the existing pipe out.

Not every plumber has access to the equipment to handle a job of this caliber, but the Barron Plumbers do! What’s more, is we provide comprehensive preventative maintenance through our Silver Shield Preferred Membership, so you can potentially prevent sewer line and main water line problems before they ever turn into emergencies.
